Minister of Industry, Mines and Energy Neila Nouira Gongi visited Friday an exhibition of products and solutions "Made in Tunisia" in the automotive industry and energy transition.
The minister was accompanied by Yusuke Amano, the Director of International Cooperation and Engineering for Infrastructure at the Japanese Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.
She enquired about high value-added projects, such as the electric car of BAKO Motors, the experience of the robot deployed to fight the coronavirus and works of Wallyscar, the first and only Tunisian automotive manufacturer and designer.
This event is designed to build on business relationships between Tunisian small- and medium-sized enterprises and startups and their Japanese and African counterparts attending TICAD side events.
