TICAD 8: City of Sciences to host scientific events August 24-26
They will see the participation of experts from Tunisia, Japan and several African countries.
An Africa-Japan meeting on society, science and technology will be held on August 24 and 25, said communications officer at the City of Sciences in Tunis Hassen Tahri.It will involve the Atlas Foundation, the University of Carthage, the Borj Cédria technopark, the National Agency for the Promotion of Industry and Innovation and the national agency for the promotion of scientific research.
This meeting, which will be held under the theme «investing in knowledge for a new Africa», will focus in particular on technology, health, energy and water, the same source added.
Astronomy and space science enthusiasts will be able to attend a scientific conference, organised by the Service Innovation Lab on August 26. It will bring together Japanese academic institutions and companies in collaboration with the Tunisian Space Association and the ESPITA engineering school.
