Tunisia was officially announced as a host country of TICAD on July 16, 2020.

Placed in a post-Covid-19 context, the discussions during this Eighth Conference (TICAD VIII) will revolve around three themes : “Achieving sustainable and inclusive growth with reduced economic inequalities” (1), “Realizing a sustainable and resilient society based on human security” (2) and “Building sustainable peace and stability through supporting Africa’s own efforts” (3).
